MILWAUKEE (March 8, 2017) – Glendale, Wis. Cousins Subs® to host meet & greet with former Green Bay Packers tight end, Mark Chmura, on Saturday, March 11th from 5 – 7 p.m.

The local sub shop invites the community to commemorate its 27-years of serving the area, and recent reopening, by joining them and Mark Chmura for a night of celebrating two Wisconsin legacies presented by Coca-Cola. Those who stop by have the opportunity to take a photo and have an item signed by Chmura as well as can enter to win free subs for a year.

Cousins Subs in Glendale reopened in the newly constructed building at 5333 N. Port Washington Rd. on January 6, 2017. The 2,380-sq. foot location is Cousins’ first corporate-owned brick and mortar restaurant to feature the company’s rebranding elements—an initiative Cousins announced in May 2016 to create a streamlined look and feel across all restaurants.

The new location features a modern, inviting environment that honors Cousins’ history, Milwaukee roots, and values. Guests will enjoy the company’s new Milwaukee Sub Shop design, which combines natural materials balanced by solid surfaces, stone walls, wood floors, an earth tone color palette and industrial finishes.

Guests can pick from Cousins full lineup of deli-fresh and grilled to order subs that can be made with either all-white meat chicken or USDA choice steak. The menu also pays homage to Cousins’ heritage with signature Wisconsin-based products including root beer on tap, Wisconsin Cheese Curds and subs topped with all Wisconsin cheeses. In addition, guests can enjoy more than 100 beverage choices from the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine.

As part of a larger company test, the Glendale location is the first to serve vanilla and chocolate shakes made with Wisconsin-based dairy and toppings as well as cookie sandwiches. Cousins may look to rollout shakes at select locations pending test results and feedback.
