Cousins Subs Awards UW Badger Fan

MILWAUKEE (Dec. 20, 2017) – Cousins Subs® celebrates its fourth year of partnership with UW Athletics by awarding a VIP tailgate experience to one lucky Badger fan through its ‘Bucky’s Bash’ sweepstakes.

From Oct. 23 – Nov. 19, participants were encouraged to enter the sweepstakes daily for a chance to win a 50” LED Smart 4K Ultra HD television, Samsung sound bar system, Badger sports package and a two-hour visit from Cousins’ Traveling Sub Shop.

Out of nearly 11,000 entries, Joe Carpentier of New Berlin, Wisconsin was selected as the grand prize winner and scored an exclusive at-home tailgate experience as the UW Badgers closed out the football season. Carpentier, along with family and friends, cheered on the Badgers while enjoying grilled and deli-fresh sub sandwiches, fries and Wisconsin Cheese Curds from the Traveling Sub Shop parked right in his driveway.

Carpentier reflects on the experience by stating, “The at-home tailgate was super cool. My favorite part was having the Traveling Sub Shop catered for the game, but winning the TV was also a close tie! My family was already getting together for the game so it was great that I was able to provide Cousins Subs for everyone while cheering the Badgers to victory.”
